Meet the Board of Directors

MR. PETER MUNGAI

He brings a wealth of experience in management consultancy, statutory audits, MIS Audits and impact assessment on projects having worked in various institutions such as Dan & Anderson Associates, Sub-Saharan Africa (ABM) Eastman Kodak Inc. and Wachira Irungu & Associates.

MR. ROBERT MUCHOKI

Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts in Building Economics from the University of Nairobi and is a registered Quantity Surveyor. Robert has had extensive experience in Quantity Surveying, The Civil Service, Outdoor Branding, Construction Contracting, and Project Management & Building Development. He has also gained a lot of development exposure from travel. In 2010, he helped found Home Afrika Communities Limited and was appointed its Managing Director.

MR. STEPHEN GICHOHI

Mr. Gichohi is a Shareholder of Migaa Development (Home Afrika Communities Ltd) through his company Linyanti Ltd. He is also a Director and Shareholder of Mambrui Golf Resort Ltd, a 1,200 acre mixed used development project located in Mambrui, Malindi. Mr. Gichohi is also the Chairman of CMGI Ltd (Critical Mass Growth Investment), an investment group that is a major shareholder of a public company Norwich Union Properties Ltd, which holds a large property portfolio in Nairobi.

MS. ANN MUCHOKI

Anne is a Chartered Surveyor whose areas of expertise include Property Development and Management, International Property Acquisition, Development and Disposal, Land Policy Issues, Infrastructure Services Development and Implementation, Project Development, Project Finance and Low Cost Housing Development. Anne holds an MBA from Brunel University, UK, and a Master of Science Degree in Commercial Property Management.

LUKE KINOTI

Mr. Kinoti holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Nairobi and is also a member of the Institute of Directors (Kenya). Mr. Kinoti is a Finance specialist, entrepreneur and philanthropist with over 30 years’ experience in building the economy through the establishment of various companies. He brings a wealth of experience in various sectors having worked in institutions such as Suntra Investment Limited and Fusion Capital.

ANTONY MBANDI

Mr. Antony Mbandi is the immediate former Development Director of Strathmore University Foundation. Antony has a BSc Information Systems and Technology from USIU-Africa and a Masters of Arts Degree in Project Planning Management from University of Nairobi. He also has certification in quality standards and fundraising management from Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, Leadership training from Strathmore University Business School, and Auditor/Lead Auditor ISO I from Kenya Bureau of Standards. Antony has 20+ years vast practical experience in resource mobilization, philanthropy, and social impact investing.
